Jolan Tru fellow Rihannsu Officers,

Just want to start off with saying Happy New Year to all and hope everyone enjoyed there holiday season. My applogies for not updating everyone with a list of current stuff. However there wasnt much to report on the Romulan front these past couple weeks. However as Solok mentioned awhile ago most of this news is going to come from a galaxy far far away!

As many of you already know we have begun operation's within Star Wars The Old Republic the Order of Rihannsu (Republic Side) and the just recently launched Imperial Rihannsu Clan (Empire Side) are now both active and can be found on the same server, Jedi Covenant, if anyone needs invites there should be ample amount of officer's on both fronts to make sure you get an invite. Fvillha is the current guildmaster for the Republic Fleet and I am the current guildmaster for the Empire Fleet so if you need anything at all or have questions/concerns you can feel free to contact one of us or one of the assigned officer's in game or the forums.

Moving on to the next thing and something some of you have been waiting for and that is the current promotion's list. Some of you have been promoted once, twice, or maybe three times over the course of the last couple months so some of you will be getting a significant jump in rank. Now to award and recognize those officers for there dedication and service.

The following officers are being promoted within the Imperial Fleet,

Pkricard to the rank of Enarrain

SenatorSosuhno is officially retired from the fleet but will be retiring with the rank of Arrain and moved to the Honorary Officer's roster.

Rapscallion to the rank of Erei'Arrain

Kresteel to the rank of Erei'Arrain

Also by order of Romulan Star Command, I am hearby promoting all current cadets to the rank of Erein. The following cadets are hearby to report to the Senior Fleet Officer for duty assignments,

Just a few things in this months latest of IRF news.

First of all congradulations goes out to Sub-Commander Aeryn t'Laris who has just been recently promoted to the High Command and is now our current Deputy Fleet Ambassador. She will be training with DeRhamme over the course of the next few weeks in all things diplomacy. Congrats is well deserved to someone who has been with us for quite some time.

Also a congradulation goes out pkrikard on being Octobers member of the month, although a recent member you have been very active with us and for that we here at High Command HQ salute you.

Another great announcement is the formation of the Order of Rihannsu SW:ToR guild for the IRF. For those planning on playing The Old Republic we have formed a guild on the Republic side just so we can get a head count and start planning play times and operations as a fleet. If your curious about the Sith side we havent formed a group on that side yet however if there is enough interest and high demand for it then we will create another guild on the Sith side in advance. We will however be creating one once the game goes live anyhow so be patient young padawan.

Just in from the Tal Shiar Headquarters is a letter from Chiarman Zelgos to inform any Fleet officers interested in joining the Tal Shiar that they have 2 open spots and are in high need of filling them, while most details are classified I can say that anyone that has graduated the Academy can apply. To apply simply send a coded message to Zelgos and he will let you know the rest of the information. I can also tell you that you must be very active within the group to even be considered.

Speaking of positions open we have only 1 High Command seat to fill and that is the Operations Officer position, minimum requirements are 3 months active within the fleet or minimum rank of Centurion. If your interested send me a PM and I will setup a time for us to meet. For details on this position see the About Us Page.

Jolan Tru' Commanders and Centurions,

Welcome to this edition of Romulan news. Just a few things to cover in this edition most of which you already know or should know.

Recently you may have seen a few changes to our website. I have updated our website skin and features list which now streamlines everything for all members. We now have an Operations tab that you may have seen already, this will serve as a place for all our group activities and over the course of the next few days we will start placing events on the calendar, from there you can RSVP or discuss the event with other members of the group which will help keep a head count. This tab is a members only area so if your not registered or signed in you wont be able to access this area. I have also updated the About Us Page and encourage everyone to take a look at a few changes that have been made.

One big change some of you may have seen recently was another member was added to the Star Command group. I would like to congradulate Erei'Dhaemnasi Solok on his recent promotion to Vice-Chairman of the Tal Shiar. After being approved by a landslide vote by High Command, Solok has begun training and working on Tal Shiar ops and has been a valued member in the fleet for a long time now. While I cant discuss Tal Shiar operations openly I can assure that the Tal Shair will be working to be more active in the group and to be the most feard intelligence agency in the galaxy.

New Communications HQ

Jolan Tru' Fellow Commander's and Centurion's,

There have been a few recent changes to certain things lately new forums being one of them, however today I would like to annouce our new home for VoIP communications, TeamSpeak 3 (TS3). Its the latest in VoIP technology and will help communications for those gaming within the fleet or for just chatting it up with friends in the fleet. This will be our new permanent home for the future. While I dont want to discuss what went down and why we have got all new equipment for the group in the past few months I will tell you that everything new will be for good. For those familar with Ventrilo or TeamSpeak 2 then you should have no issues at all. Simply download the program from the following link http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads after you have installed the program simply hit the Join Server button here on the main website and it will connect automaticly for you. For the users that are very familar with this program our Hostname is RomulanStarEmpire.instantts.com or IP address 66.228.112.15, Port # is 8693. I will be montoring this program over the next month as I have us on a basic plan, should we need more slots I will add them and if I notice alot of problems like I did with Mumble I will simply switch us to something better. Should things go well I will extend our service period for alot longer.
